Chris J. Panatier graduated from the University of Texas, Austin, in 1998 with a major in humanities. He attended and graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 2001.
He then joined and became a partner in the law firm of Simon Greenstone Panatier, PC. He has bar admissions in Texas, California, and Pennsylvania.
Experience
As a trial lawyer, Panatier advocates for victims of toxic exposures. His practice areas include toxic torts, asbestos exposure and mesothelioma, product liability, pharmaceuticals, commercial disputes, and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He works in the Dallas, Texas office but works with clients in many areas.
One of Panatier’s most notable cases was the first verdict brought against Colgate-Palmolive over mesothelioma and talcum powder. The victim, Judith Winkel, used the company’s Cashmere Bouquet talcum powder for decades and later developed mesothelioma. Panatier helped prove the product contained asbestos and that Colgate-Palmolive was liable for her illness.
In similar cases advocating for victims, Panatier has helped win significant compensation. His peers have recognized this work with numerous awards and distinctions.
